A trio of tracks from a trio of musicians.
After a long gentle start, the first track (the 32 minute title track), gets going and we are in familiar territory with burbling tones gradually rising in volume over shifting chords. Ten minutes in and the bass frequencies are strong. It feels a little like the start of Tangerine Dream's 'Ricochet' at times. Surprisingly forceful, with plenty going on. But perhaps it goes on a little too long without enough variation.
The second track, the inappropriately named 'Traditional Folk Music', also has plenty of 'Ricochet' references, but this goes further in a briefer time, and benefits as a result.
The third track, Gloria Mundi, weighs in at 22 minutes, and feels overlong to me.
