Steve Jolliffe is perhaps best known from his brief period with Tangerine Dream.
The tracks have no names on this album, but how often do the names add to the music? The tracks form one long piece, in effect, with frequent shifts through interesting melodic territory. Percussion is often busy, and vaguely African sounding too, but fairly low in the mix, and it works well.
Bubbling sounds, and pings are there, but are not dominant - an acoustic guitar fits in well, and is frequently to the fore.
Ideal for those who like strong tunes in their electronic music.
