Review - Redshift, Downtime.

This is powerful stuff, Dark and brooding, strong and thundering, with lots going on in the lower register. These are definitely separate tracks, not one long piece.

Something halfway between a heartbeat and breathing comes in on "Ultranaught" but fast paced and sombre, with strong soaring lead lines remains the dominant mood overall. Further on into the album, the mood remains grim, with "All things bright" having a marching beat over industrial white noise thuds. "Protoland" shows significant change and development within the track, to good effect, reminding me a little of Syneasthesia.

Overall: 7.5/10, Grim energy prevails.
